Vintage Bamboo Blenko Bookends Pair Glass Wheat Color

Description

This is a pair of heavy Blenko glass bookends featuring bamboo shoots and foliage on the front with smooth backsides.  In a lovely warm, amber toned "wheat" color, this striking pair of bookends was designed by Don  Shepherd.  They stand about 4 7/8" in height, have a width of about 5 7/8" and a depth of 2 1/4".  Previously owned, they are in good condition overall, chip and crack free.  There are a few "imperfections" that appear to have been present from the time they were made including "lines" and air bubbles.  One bookend does have a few shallow scratches on its backside.
